1958 Gibson Les Paul Junior In Sunburst

We present an all original and 100% complete 1958 Gibson Les Paul Junior in its original Sunburst finish. Made In Kalamazoo, Michigan.

This Gibson Les Paul Junior is coming directly from the family of the original owner. The original sales receipt is also included from the local music store. Later in 60’s the original owner purchased a chipboard case for his guitar. So here we have a piece of history in top condition.

Overall, this Gibson Les Paul Junior is crazy clean condition with few nicks, dings and other cosmetic play-wear. The original Sunburst finish is vibrant, still retaining that red layer, that wonderfully contrasting the natural finish on the back. The original frets are like new and in great shape so there are plenty of life left in them.

This Gibson is singlecut mahagony body with 1-piece mahagony neck. Gorgeous rosewood fretboard with dot inlays. It has a nice big neck profile that is a joy to play. Strong P-90 “Dog ear” singlecoil pickup sounds fantastic. Black singlelayer pickguard, Aluminum lightweight wrab-over tailpiece looks like new. The original Kluson tuners are in perfect working order and turns smoothly.

The pickup and the electronics/wiring remains untouched and intact, with no broken solder joints, no re-wound pickup. All original and correct.

Comes with a chipboard case from the 60’s. Latches and handle are in perfect working order.

  • Width nut: 1-11/16″
