1959 Fender Jazzmaster – Sunburst
We present an original 1959 Fender Jazzmaster in its original Sunburst finish. Made in Fullerton,California
This pre-CBS Fender Jazzmaster is all original except for a new professional refret plus a new handcrafted bone nut. Cosmetically, this guitar is in excellent condition with minor nicks, ding and other cosmetic play wear. It has a few spots of notable wear down to the bare alder body. The beautiful c-shape maple neck profile and headstock face are clean as it can be. Dark rosewood slab board with clay dots. The guitar itself is powerful, resonant and extremely versatile, this is everything you’d expect from a guitar produced in the Fender’s golden age periode.
One broken solder joint repaired on the body cavity shield. The solder joint under the neck pickup has a tendency to break on these, when you ad new foam to adjust the pickups hight (very common). There is an updated photo documentation on that repair that we did here at Guitar Hunter.
Otherwise, pickups and the electronics/wiring remain untouched and intact, with no broken solder joints, no re-wound pickups. All original and correct.
Comes complete with its original Hardshell Case. Latches and handle are in perfect working order.
