We present an all original 1963 Gibson SG Special in its original Polaris White finish. Made in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
This Gibson SG Special is all original and 100% complete. Even comes with its original hang tag. It features its original compensated wraparound tail piece, bound rosewood fretboard, 2 x “3 on a stripe” Kluson tuners. There is so much resonance in this 1-piece / lightweight mahogany body. It’s incredibly lively and clear acoustically.
The Gibson P-90s pickup sounds amazing and are well balanced. They are absolutely roar and can deliver everything from glassy, articulate cleans to growling heavy overdrive with ease. The 1-piece neck with the nut width 1 11/16 is a joy to play. Overall, it’s in beautiful shape with minor nicks, dings and finish checking. Just a super clean example with no breaks or repairs.
Comes with its original Gibson black chipboard case with plush Red interior. Latches and handle are in perfect working order.
Pickups and the electronics/wiring remain untouched and intact, with no broken solder joints, no re-wound pickups. All original and 100% correct.
