We present an original 1963 Gibson SJ – Southern Jumbo. Made in Kalamazoo, Michigan.

This wonderful Gibson flat top has a very select high grade spruce top. Mahogany back and sides. The mahogany on this Gibson SJ has particularly interesting grain. The back and sides are in great condition. A few small nick, dings and other cosmetic play wear. A few lines of snaky/beautiful finish checking and a few dings appear on the guitar. None are deep or puckered. Play wear around the sound hole.

1-piece mahogany neck with beautiful dark rosewood fingerboard. The bindings on the neck, close to the original nut, has shrinking a little bit. This vintage Gibson has cream-black-cream binding on top, with single cream binding on back and sides, all antiqued. The original Kluson DeLuxe tuners has been replaced with some new Gibson tuners  (The original tuners are included). New rosewood bridge made by Luthier;  Åke Westfelt .

Comes with a newer hardshell case. Latches and handle are in perfect working order
