1964 Fender Stratocaster – Candy Apple Red
We present an all original 1964 Stratocaster in Candy Apple Red finish. Made in Fullerton, California.
This pre-CBS Custom Color Fender Stratocaster is a prime example of why these early Fenders are so coveted. A beautiful playing neck and sounding instrument in fantastic condition, with just enough light cosmetic wear to give it some mojo.
This pristine AAA figured maple neck is a medium C-shape profile with beautiful dark curved (veneer) rosewood fretboard with clay dots. Overall this guitar is in excellent condition and only has very few nicks and dings. Finish checking and has some small belt buckle wear on the back. To keep the original nut without fret buzz, there is added little shim under it. The grey bottom pickups are very strong, warm and clear with a lively tone, woody and glassy at the same time, with a perfect balance between the set.
Pickups and electronics/wiring remain untouched and intact, with no broken solder joints, no re-wound pickups. All original and correct.
Comes complete with its original Fender non-logo hardshell case, whammy bar and ashtray.
