We present an all original and 100% complete 1965 Melody Maker in its original Cardinal Red finish. Made in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
This tidy ‘65 Melody Maker has the wider 1 11/16” nut width & a Maestro tremolo. Double Cutaway mahogany body, 1- piece mahogany neck with dark rosewood fingerboard. A cool guitar that was acclaimed by players, teachers and students for its fine sound, big tone, sensitive pickup, feather-light touch.
The Gibson is in great shape with only some dings, scratches and other cosmetic play wear. A great solid body electric guitar with full sized neck and scale length. One great sounding single coils pickup and a “Maestro” Tremolo tailpiece.
Pickup and the electronics/wiring remains untouched and intact, with no broken solder joints, no re-wound pickup. All original and correct.
Comes with a newer hardshell case. Latches and handle are in perfect working order.
