We present an original 1965 Gibson SG Junior in its original and rare Polaris White finish. Made in Kalamazoo, Michigan.

The Gibson SG Junior is an early 1965 with 1-11/16 width at nut. It’s all original except for a professional refret.  This guitar features beautiful dark rosewood fretboard with pearloid dots. 2 x “3 on a stripe” Kluson tuners and they turn and works perfectly. Overall, the Gibson Junior is in great shape with some nicks, dings and other cosmetic play-wear. To keep it factory stock, the original nut has been repaired instead of a new nut. The Gibson P-90 pickup sounds amazing and are very strong. So much resonance in this 1-piece / lightweight mahogany body. It’s  incredibly lively and clear acoustically. Absolutely roar and can deliver everything from glassy, articulate cleans to growling heavy overdrive. The 1-piece neck with the nut width 1 11/16 is a joy to play.

The pickup and other electronics/wiring remains untouched and intact, with no broken solder joints, no re-wound pickup. All original and correct.

Comes with a newer 70’s hardshell case.
