We present an all original and 100% complete 1966 Fender Precision bass in its original Sunburst finish. Made in Fullerton, California.
The playability is so excellent on this Fender Precision bass. A great light weight example and it’s extremely resonant. As you can see, it has a lot of good honest mojo wear from years of playing. The original frets are very good and have plenty of life left. A beautiful dark veneer rosewood fingerboard with pearloid dots. Overall, it’s in great original shape with nicks, dings and finish checking. This Precision lives up to its “holy grail” bass status, with solid intonation and a feel that that you want on a bass. Neck is slick and fast- it feels like a pre-CBS in your hands. Outstanding tone and huge dark sounding response.
Pickup and the electronics/wiring remians untouched and intact, with no broken solder joints, no re-wound pickup. All original and correct.
Comes complete with its original hardshell case. Latches and handle are in perfect working order.
