We present an all original and 100% complete 1966 Fender Precision bass in its original Sunburst finish. Made in Fullerton, California.
This 1966 Fender Precision bass is coming directly from the original owner in Denmark. He purchased this Fender bass brand new back in 60’s. Well loved and played but has never been modified at all. The playability is so excellent on this Fender Precision bass. A great light weight example and it’s extremely resonant.
The original frets are very good and have plenty of life left. A beautiful dark veneer rosewood fingerboard with pearloid dots. Overall, it’s in great original shape with nicks, dings and other cosmetic play wear. This Precision lives up to its “holy grail” bass status, with solid intonation and a feel that that you want on a bass. Neck is slick and fast- it feels like a pre-CBS in your hands. Outstanding tone and huge dark sounding response.
Pickup and the electronics/wiring remians untouched and intact, with no broken solder joints, no re-wound pickup. All original and correct.
Comes complete with its original Hagström export hardshell case. Latches and handle are in perfect working order.
