We present an all original 1969 Fender Mustang Competition in Orange finish with matching headstock. Made in Fullerton, California.
This is the earliest version of the Competition Mustang with cloth wires, double-line Kluson deluxe tuning keys and a February 1969 neck date. It has a very nice straight neck with good frets. This vintage Mustang looks so great with minor nicks and dings, and other cosmetic wear. The guitar itself remains structurally sound with no breaks or repairs. It even comes complete with the original whammy bar, bridge cover, strap and polish cloth.
The pickups and the electronics/wiring remain untouched and intact, with no broken solder joints, no re-wound pickup. All original and correct.
Comes with its original hardshell case. Latches and handle are in perfect working order.
