We present an all original 1977 Gibson ES-335 TD in its original Walnut finish. Made in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
This iconic vintage Gibson is super clean and has a beautiful figured top and two original humbucker pickups that delivers the classic Gibson semi-hollow tone for which these are known for. Overall if you’re looking for a pristine example of a 70’s ES-335, this could be the one.
This guitar has likely not seen a lot of use and there is only very little cosmetic wear. Gibson semi hollow body ES-335 TD from late 70’s has coil-tap which allows the humbucker’s to produce a “single-coil” sound. The 3-piece maple neck is nice and the original frets and nut are in excellent shape with plenty of life left. The setup on this piece has a low action so it play like a dream and sounds like a dream. This guitar has likely not seen a lot of use and there is only very little cosmetic wear. Also the chrome hardware and the trapeze tailpiece is in excellent shape.
Pickups and the electronics/wiring remain untouched and intact, with no broken solder joints, no re-wound pickups. All original and correct.
Comes with its original Gibson hardshell case. Latches and handle are in perfect working order.
