1966 Fender Telecaster – Sunburst

We present an all original and 100% complete 1966 Fender Telecaster in Sunburst finish. Made in Fullerton, California.

This Fender Telecaster is rare because Sunburst finish from that era on a Telecaster was custom order / Custom Color. Blond finish was standard finish on a Telecaster.

This Fender Telecaster has a slim playing maple neck with dark rosewood fingerboard. It comes with its original wide frets and they have plenty of life left. Overall, it provides an authentic ’60’s Telecaster tone with twang and it sounds so incredibly good. The guitar itself is in great shape with some nicks, dings and light belt buckle wear, beautiful finish checking and other cosmetic wear. Everything remains structurally sound with no cracks, breaks or any repairs. The original Sunburst is great and has faded over the years.

Pickups and the electronics/wiring remain untouched and intact, with no broken solder joints, no re-wound pickups. All original and correct.

Comes with its original Fender hardshell tweed case. Latches and handle are in perfect working order.
