We present an original 1967 Martin D-21 in its original natural finish. Made in Nazareth, Pennsylvania.

This model is a rosewood dreadnought guitar that has nearly the same appointments like a D-18. This acoustic guitar has spruce top with beautiful rosewood back and sides as well as rosewood peghead overlay, fingerboard and bridge. Tortoise bindings around body, with extra purfling strips inside top edge. Graduated dot inlays in Fretboard. Overall, it is in excellent condition for its age. No breaks or any overspray. There is some nicks and dings and other cosmetic playwear. The top shows deep scratches/wear down to the bare wood close to the sound hold and upper shoulder on the treble side. It has been closed and sealed. The original grower tuners turns and works perfectly.

These rare original D-21’s seem to always sound snappier than the same year D-28’s. They sound much crisper in the attack than D-28’s do. This one is no exception… It delivers quick attack and full presence.

Comes with a new Martin hardshell case. Latches and handle are in perfect working order.

Professional work done by luthier.
