We present an all original 1957 Fender Stratocaster in its original 2-Tone Sunburst finish. A 1957 Fender Stratocaster is just one of the most popular and desirable Strats from the 50’s.
This 1957 pre-CBS Fender Stratocaster has been well-loved by its owner. It has the most gorgeous grained V- shaped neck we have ever seen. Overall, it has weather checking, nicks, dings and other cosmetic wear. The original “Pat.nr.stamped” steel-saddles and hardware have become a little worn and aged. The saddle screws have been cleaned so they can run perfectly. The original frets and nut still have life left in them. The original owner must have worn a belt buckle, since there is some rash/scratches on the back of the alder body that has given this guitar some honest mojo. The neck is straight and the truss rod functions as intended. The Black Bobbins pickups are very strong and balanced. They are warm and clear with a lively tone, with a perfect balance between the set.
Pickups and the electronics/wiring are untouched and intact, with no broken solder joints, no re-wound pickups. All original and correct.
It even comes complete with the original hardshell tweed case & Tremolo arm. Latches and handle are in perfect working order.
