We present an original 1959 Fender Vibrolux in excellent condition and in perfect working order. Made in Fullerton, California.

The circuit is completely original. Only 2 high quality filter capacitor has been changed. Even comes complete with vintage tube set (RCA and Sylvania) This tweed amplifier delivers the classic tweed tone with incredible dynamics, harmonic richness, and tonal clarity. The amp stays clean with just the right amount of overdrive and very tight bass response for an amp with the original Jensen P10R” speaker.

The tremolo is bias based, meaning that it turns the tubes on and off at a rate and intensity set by the controls, and has a nice strong pulse to it, with its smooth waveform that has a good amount of intensity and chop on tap.The chassis is clean and also the chrome control plate. Original white lettering is intact, along with the stock chicken head knobs. The stock metal handle ends are intact along with its original handle. The stock gray two-prong power cord is still on the amp as well.

The original alnico Jensen P10R 10″ speaker is intact with a very clean green/blue frame, original bell cover, and clean Jensen label. The original lacquered tweed is intact, showing light ambering and some minor scuffs and wear, primarily on the lower left corner of the enclosure and bottom of the amp. The original Oxblood grillcloth is tight, with 2 small burn marks.

To keep it as original as possible there are a desktop voltage converter included, so it can run with 230volt without changing anything.

The original tube chart is present as well and very clean with crisp corners and hand inked serial number.

  • Chart Date II: September 1959.
  • Chassis Stamp II: September 1959.
  • Speaker Date Code 220815: 15th week of 1958.
  • Serial Number: F02364.

To keep it as original as possible you need a stepdown transformer. We have these in stock and can be purchased through Guitar Hunter. https://guitarhunter.dk/product/toroidy-ats300va-stepdown-converter-230-110v/
