Description

We present an all original 1962 Gibson SG Junior in its original Polaris White finish. Beautiful dark rosewood fretboard with pearloid dots.  2 x “3 on a stripe” Kluson tuners. The guitar has a lot of gorgeous finish checking all over the body, neck and other cosmetic play-wear. Nicks and dings around the frets and other spots on the guitar. The original frets has some playspots but overall there is plenty of life left in them and also the nut. There is strap locks on the guitar but the original strap buttons are included.

The Gibson P-90 pickup sounds amazing and are very strong. So much resonance in this 1-piece / lightweight mahogany body. It’s incredibly lively and clear acoustically. Absolutely roar and can deliver everything from glassy, articulate cleans to growling heavy overdrive. The 1-piece neck with the nut width 1 11/16 is a joy to play.
An induction coil where added to the ground, so it had less noise, but its removed again. Otherwise the pickup and other electronics/wiring remain untouched and intact, with no broken solder joints, no re-wound pickups. All original and correct.

This SG Junior even comes complete with its original alligator chipboard case. Latches and handle are also perfect and intact.

Nut width: 1 11/16″
Bridge pickup: 7.76 kOhm
Weight: 2.77  Kilograms
