1963 Fender Jazzmaster – Sunburst
We present an all original and early 1963 Fender Jazzmaster in Sunburst finish. Made in Fullerton, California.
This pre-CBS Fender Jazzmaster is absolutely stunning. Overall, this guitar shows is in excellent shape with belt “buckle rash” on the back and nicks and dings on the front and sides, with a few spots of notable wear and an assortment of small nicks and scratches to the back of the guitar.
The tinted C-neck profile and back of the headstock are as clean as can be with minor nicks and dings. Otherwise, this is an exceptional example of a pre-CBS Jazzmaster with “spagetti logo”. The original black bobbins Pickups are very balanced/strong and sounds incredibly good. The original frets have been dressed, but there is still plenty of life left. the fingerboard has a beautiful dark rosewood with clay dots. Soundwise, this Fender Jazzmaster is so much is powerful, resonant and extremely versatile, this is everything you’d expect from a guitar produced in Fender’s golden age period.
Pickups and electronics/wiring remain untouched and intact, with no broken solder joints, no re-wound pickups. All original and correct.
Comes complete with its original Fender Brown Hardshell Case. Latches and handle are in perfect working order.
