1963 Fender Stratocaster – Sunburst
We present an exceptional and all original 1963 Fender Stratocaster in Sunburst. Made in Fullerton California.
Overall, this pre-CBS Stratocaster is in near mint condition. It even comes with its original white tolex hardshell case, ashtray, tremolo arm, Fender polish cloth, polish tag, guitar strap and key with envelope. An absolutely stunning instrument with real vintage Fender tone. This beauty will complement any high-end collection, but it definitely deserves to be played.
This is a “one owner” guitar, that has spent most of its time in its hardshell case and has not been played a lot. Only a FEW little chips and dings and no breaks or repairs on this pre-CBS Stratocaster.
The original frets and nut have got still some life left. The neck has one of the most beautiful (veneer) rosewood fingerboards we have ever seen. The black bottom pickups are very balanced and sound incredibly good and the strings are nice and low, play great and ring out clearly.
Pickups and the electronics/wiring remain untouched and intact, with no broken solder joints, no re-wound pickups. All original and correct.
