1963 Gibson Les Paul (SG) Junior – Cherry
We present an original 1963 Gibson Les Paul (SG) Junior in its original Cherry finish. Made in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
This Gibson Junior is all original except for a brand new nut. The original Cherry finish is still strong with minor fading. Beautiful dark rosewood fretboard with pearloid dots and 2 x “3 on a stripe” Kluson tuners. Overall the guitar is in great shape with some nicks, dings, minor finish checking behind the headstock and other cosmetic play wear. No breaks or any repairs.
The original frets have plenty of life left. The Gibson P-90 pickup sounds amazing and is very strong.
So much resonance in this 1-piece / lightweight mahogany body. It’s incredibly lively and clear acoustically. Absolutely roar and can deliver everything from glassy, articulate cleans to growling heavy overdrive. 1-piece fat neck that is a joy to play.
The pickup and other electronics/wiring remains untouched and intact, with no broken solder joints, no re-wound pickup. All original and correct.
Comes complete with its original Alligator chipboard case. Newer handle on the case.
