1963 Gibson SG Custom – Polaris White

We present an original 1963 Gibson SG Custom in Polaris White finish. Made in Kalamazoo, Michigan.

Overall, this Gibson SG Custom is in absolutely in great shape with some nicks, dings, finish cracks and other cosmetic play wear. 1-piece mahogany neck with a comfortable, wide neckprofile. The gold-plated hardware include theMaestro Vibrola & Lyre tailpiece are still strong but has become aged over the years.

The original frets is still in great shape including the nut. Gorgeous ebony fretboard with block MOP-inlays. ABR-1 bridge Tune-o-matic bridge, 6 x original Kluson “Waffleback” tuners, 2x Vol/2x Tone and 3-way toggle switch. The”Pat.nr.-sticker” humbuckers are pretty similar to the famous PAF´s and the are well balanced and sound fantastic. The guitar is all original except for at some point the one or two pickup-cover has been off, but it’s back on.

Otherwise, the pickups and the electronics/wiring remain untouched and intact, with no broken solder joints, no re-wound pickups. All original and correct.
