Description

A Jazzmaster directly from the original owner!

We present a stunning one owner guitar. This is an all original 1965 Fender Jazzmaster in a beautiful original Sunburst finish. This Jazzmaster is all original and 100% complete with its original bridge, tremolo arm and matching number hang tag. It’s all there. Cosmetically, this Jazzmaster is in near mint condition that only shows a few spot and an assortment of small nicks and scratches. Overall a super clean guitar. The neck profile and headstock face are clean as it can be. Chasing improved intonation, although the stock bridge position that intonate perfectly. The grey Bobbins pickups are very strong and very balanced. The guitar is powerful, resonant and extremely versatile. This is everything you’d like and it has a great/strong/ C-shape bound neck profile with dots and bindings. There is an original sticker back on the headstock from the Music Store where the former owner purchased it back in 1966. We will leave it as is, because it’s history. But the sticker can easily be removed.

Acoustically, the guitar is able to deliver everything from sparkle and twang in the bridge position to woody and complex tones at the neck. This jazzmaster boasts a distinct and usable tone in every position. Flip a switch( tip replaced to a periode correct) to the oft disregarded (and infinitely cool) rhythm circuit and you have a whole new palette of dark voicing’s meant to appeal to the “Jazz” player that never really got on with this instrument, but a tonal range that really loves a heavily overdriven tube amp.

All pickups and the electronics/wiring are untouched and intact, with no broken solder joints, no re-wound pickups. All original and correct.

Comes complete with its original hardshell case. Latches and handle are in perfect working order.
