We present an original 1966 Fender Princeton Reverb in perfect working order. This amplifier was made in Fullerton, California.

The Blackface Fender Princeton Reverb is one of the crown jewels of mid-’60s combo amps. This classic amp added a tube-driven reverb circuit to the popular Princeton student combo, and has been among the most widely used recording amps since its introduction in 1964. The original Jensen speaker is perfect and healthy. All transformers is factory original. New Belton tube retainers and the circuit itself is perfect and is serviced with some new caps, tubes and resistors so it can run perfectly. Newer reverb spring is installed.. The amp is definitely excellent condition category as far as the cosmetics are concerned. The front plate has some super cool handwritten letters, otherwise still sports its original factory shine with very little patina.  The grill cloth is exceptionally clean and tolex is also in exceptionally fine condition with no significant wear and tear. The circuit itself is perfect and is serviced with some new caps, 3 prong cord, tubes and resistors so it can run perfectly.

All channels work and sound incredible. To keep it as original as possible you need a stepdown transformer. We have these in stock and can be purchased through Guitar Hunter.

The original tube chart is present as well and very clean with crisp corners and hand inked serial number.

– Jensen speaker date – 220618- 18th week of 1966
– Serial number – A055 69
