We present an all original 1966 Gibson J-200 in its original Sunburst finish. Made in Kalamazoo, Michigan.

The J-200’s construction and aesthetic beauty makes it one of the most sought-after acoustic models that Gibson ever produced. There is no doubt that this piece was crafted out of the finest materials that were available on the Kalamazoo, Michigan back in late mid 60’s. It’s a remarkably comfortable guitar and sounds unbelievable and has so much volume, power and punchy woody tone. Super clean condition and sounds great with its original Tune-O-Matic-Bridge.

This crack free J-200 has the most gorgeous figured maple on the back and sides, spruce top, bound dark rosewood fingerboard with pearl inlays. Single bound headstock, pearl Gibson logo and crown inlays. Sunburst finish to all sides. Orange oval label visible through the soundhole. There is a lot of life left in the original frets and nut.

The original rosewood mustache bridge plate is intact and is in good shape. Overall, this flat-top has been well cared for considering its age with very minor lacquer finish checking all around the body.

  • Nut width: 1-11/16″.

Comes with a newer hardshell case. Latches and handle are in perfect working order.

Professionally setup in our workshop here at Guitar Hunter.
