I present an original 1967 Martin D-18. This is maybe a more typical looking D-18, but this one has a lot of power and projection. It’s in stunning and super clean condition without any crack repairs at all. Very few random dings and scratches here and there. Overall, a great piece that is near impossible to find in that condition.
This model has mahogany back, sides, and neck. It has a nicer top than you’d expect – possibly Red Spruce or Englemann. Beautiful rosewood peghead overlay with C.F. Martin & Codecal logo at top. Original rosewood fingerboard and bridge. Graduated dot inlays in fingerboard.Frets show nearly no play-wear. Original bone nut and saddle. Tuners are original Grover “Patent Pending” Rotomatics.
This guitar has been well cared for. Never installed a strap button in the neck heel.
Comes with its original hardhard case with a newer handle.
Repair that has been done by a professional Luthier.
– Original bridge has been sanded, so it has the perfect action and the best playability you can get.
