For the past 20 years, I’ve had the pleasure of sharing a strong friendship with Jacob Binzer, better known as “Cobber,” the lead guitarist of the iconic Danish rock band D-A-D. He is an incredible person with a deep passion for gear and vintage and high-end guitars.
Over the years, we’ve collaborated on numerous events together, and I’ve had the privilege of selling him many unique vintage and high-end guitars. I’ve also helped him sell a significant amount of his own guitars and gear, ensuring they find new, happy owners.
Cobber is well known for his signature sound, often playing a Gibson Custom Shop Les Paul Standard and his original 1963 pre-CBS Fender Jazzmaster in Candy Apple Red—both truly iconic instruments that reflect his unique style.

D-A-D has achieved legendary status in Denmark and beyond, with major hits like “Sleeping My Day Away,” “Laugh ’n’ a ½,” “Bad Craziness,” and “It’s After Dark.” Their energetic performances and timeless songs have cemented their place in rock history.
Our friendship and professional relationship are built on mutual respect and a shared love for vintage guitars and exceptional tone.
