I’ve had the pleasure of knowing Martin Nielsen, bass player in the legendary Danish rock band Dizzy Mizz Lizzy, for over 20 years. Over the years, we’ve developed a strong friendship rooted in our shared passion for gear. I’ve helped Martin with various events, sourced and sold high-quality basses and equipment to him, and assisted in finding rare and unique instruments. I’ve also helped him sell parts of his own collection. All in all, it’s been a fantastic collaboration – one I have great respect for and am truly grateful and proud of. Mutual trust has always been at the core of our relationship.
As with everything I do, it’s the passion that drives the business. That’s what makes it fun to go to work.

Martin is left-handed, which has naturally made the search for suitable instruments a bit of a challenge – but in a good way. Finding quality left-handed basses is extremely difficult. Over the years, I’ve sourced several 1970s Fender Precision basses for him, as well as Rickenbackers and amps.
When Dizzy Mizz Lizzy reunited in 2010, I was proud to help provide bass amps and gear for their shows.
In 2018, Martin and I collaborated on a signature bass overdrive pedal called the Dizzaster – a very exciting project developed together with Danish pedal company Carl Martin. The result was fantastic. You can watch the video below to see how it all came together.
Martin is a phenomenal bassist with a unique melodic style. I have the utmost respect for his playing – and for the dedication and personality he brings to every note.
