1954 Gibson ES-295 – Gold
We present an all original and 100% complete 1954 Gibson ES-295 – Gold. Made in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
There was only made 357 Gibson ES-295 in 1954 and we’re very proud to present this beautiful historical piece. Even comes with its original hang tags.
This is an amazing clean example of one of Gibson’s all-time flashiest arch-tops, the ES-295. This Gibson is flawless and in excellent+ condition. It features an all gold body – front, back and sides – which hasn’t faded much at all, only an arm rest spot as result of sweat can be seen on the upper bout of the front of the guitar and sweat that has oxidized the Gold finish back of the neck. The cream-colored floral decorated pickguard is in exceptionally good condition.
The model is equipped with two original and completely untouched P-90 pickups with their original cream plastic “dog ear” covers. The pickups sound amazing and are well-balanced. The classic four amber “hatbox” knobs works perfect. The guitar has a laminated maple body with a mahogany neck and a bound rosewood fingerboard, which features the double parallelogram fretboard-inlays with alongside a pearl crown headstock inlay.
The original Kluson Deluxe tuners with amber keystone buttons is in good condition and works perfect and turns smoothly. The eye-catching adjustable patent pending “Les Paul” trapeze style bridge/tailpiece is also original and looks beautiful on this guitar. All the Gold hardware is in great shape and aged beautifully.
Pickups and the electronics/wiring remain untouched and intact, with no broken solder joints, no re-wound pickups. All original and 100% correct.
Comes with its original Brown Gibson hardshell case with pink lining. Latches and handle are in perfect working order.
