Over the past 20 years, I’ve had the pleasure of working closely with Tim Christensen on a wide range of gear-related projects and events. As the CEO of Guitar Hunter, it’s been an honor to assist Tim in finding new homes for many of his personal guitars and amplifiers over the years – so many, in fact, that I’ve lost count.
Tim is best known as the frontman, lead guitarist, and songwriter for the legendary Danish rock band Dizzy Mizz Lizzy, as well as for his deeply respected career as a solo artist and singer-songwriter. His musical output has inspired generations of musicians and listeners, both in Denmark and internationally.
I’ve also had the joy of selling Tim many rare and unique guitars throughout the years.
We’ve spent countless hours geeking out over gear, vintage specs, tones, and details – and through that, I’ve come to know his taste and instincts almost intuitively. I often have a sense of what might resonate with him before he even picks it up.
Tim is remarkably humble and an absolute pleasure to work with – always grounded, respectful, and collaborative in everything he does.
It’s relationships like this – built over years of shared passion and mutual respect – that I am truly grateful for.
What I’ve always admired about Tim is his humility and honesty. Despite being one of Denmark’s most respected musicians, he’s always made sure his guitars find the right next home – never asking a premium for his name. That kind of mindset reflects everything we believe in at Guitar Hunter: authenticity, honesty, and love for the instrument.
