1956 Fender Stratocaster – Sunburst

We present an original 1956 pre-CBS Fender Stratocaster in its original Sunburst finish. made in Fullerton, California.

This 1956 Fender Stratocaster is all original and 100% complete besides for a professional refret with a new handcrafted bone nut. Otherwise, everything remains structurally sound with no cracks, breaks or any repairs.

The original Sunburst finish on the ash body is absolutely gorgeous and not only does it look amazing, it’s truly a fantastic player with an incredible woody and resonant vintage tone. The original Black bottom single-coil pickups are very strong and balanced. It features a great playing soft v-shape neck that is a joy to play. The original plastic parts is a a mix of bakelite and plastic which is common from that era. It’s in great shape with some nicks and dings around the edges, finish checking and other cosmetic wear. An amazing Fender Stratocaster from Fender’s Golden Age.

Pickups and the electronics/wiring remain untouched and intact, with no broken solder joints, no re-wound pickups. All original and correct.

Comes with its original Hardshell Tweed Case. Latches and handle are in perfect working order.
