1962 Gibson ES-120 T – Sunburst
We present an all original 1962 Gibson ES-120 T in its original Sunburst finish. Made in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
This is an absolutely stunning 1962 Gibson ES-120 T. The “T” stands for thin body. It features elegant craftsmanship throughout, with a bound top and back highlighted by cream binding. A superb player, this guitar is equipped with its original single-coil pickup, delivering fantastic tone. It is structurally sound, with no cracks or breaks in the neck or body. The original finish shows some wear and dings, adding to its vintage character and overall aesthetic. The original frets are in excellent condition with plenty of life remaining.
This guitar produces warm, clean tones with a jazzy/blues character, thanks to its renowned Gibson single-coil pickup. It offers excellent playability, with low action and smooth response across the entire neck. A strap button has been added to the neck heel. The pickguard has a common crack but remains fully functional.
It’s 100% original throughout – Just like it left the Kalamazoo factory back in 1962.
The pickup and electronics are completely original and untouched—no broken solder joints and no rewound pickup. Everything is intact and correct.
