1963 Fender Princeton Amp 6G2 – Brownface
We present an original 1963 Fender Princeton Amp 6G2 – Brownface. Made in Fullerton, California.
Condition
The stunning 6G2 Princeton Amp is a classic vintage Fender amp and a favourite of many players. It’s in overall pretty clean shape with some minor wear. The control plate is clean with all the lettering completely intact and fully visible. The 4x original black ‘barrel’ knobs turns smoothly. The grill cloth has some slight wear and dark marks but overall in pretty nice shape.
Originality
This ’63 Princeton Amp features the original 6G2 circuit. It has just been serviced with some new capacitors and risistors along with a newer prong cord, so it can run absolutely perfect. A beautiful new handle has been added since the original old one was done. It doesn’t feature the original speaker, however it features the much more desirable Jensen P10R 10″ speaker from 1955. It sounds absolutely incredible.
A fantastic opportunity to own one of the most iconic and loved Brownface Fender amplifiers.
