1961 Fender Stratocaster – Sunburst
We present an all original 1961 Fender Stratocaster in Sunburst finish. Made in Fullerton, California.
Beautiful “slapboard – sound” and all the desirable pre-CBS features. It has a beefy tone and sounds so amazing with a lot of twang. Great playing C-shape medium neck profile and the original frets have plenty of life left. The pickups are very balanced and sounds great.
It’s in fantastic shape with very minor nicks, plus dings, finish checking and other cosmetic wear. The playwear is mostly on the backside of the body. One little pickguard crack on the pickguard tip close to the horn. Otherwise no cracks, breaks or any repairs. Just a Stunning clean guitar. Even comes complete with its original ashtray and tremolo-arm.
Pickups and electronics/wiring remain untouched and intact, with no broken solder joints, no re-wound pickups. All original and correct.
Comes with its original Brown Fender Hardshell Case w/Orange plush lining. Latches and handle are in perfect working order.
