1964 Fender Jazzmaster – Blond
We present an all original 1964 Fender Jazzmaster in its original Blond finish. Made in Fullerton, California.
This pre-CBS Fender Custom Color is an early 1964 model with the iconic “spaghetti logo.” It even comes complete with its original bridge cover and tremolo arm.
Cosmetically, this guitar is in near mint condition, showing only minimal nicks, dings, and other signs of wear. The neck profile and back of the headstock are remarkably clean. This is simply an exceptionally well-preserved example of a pre-CBS Jazzmaster in a See-Through Blond finish, beautifully showcasing the ash body. The original grey-bottom pickups are very well balanced, powerful, and sound outstanding. The original frets and nut are in excellent condition, with plenty of life left.
The Jazzmaster is powerful, resonant, and extremely versatile—everything you’d expect from a guitar built during Fender’s golden era. It features a beautifully dark rosewood fretboard with clay dot inlays. Acoustically, the guitar has a commanding tone that translates wonderfully through the two original pickups. From bright sparkle and twang in the bridge position to warm, wooly complexity at the neck, this Jazzmaster delivers distinct, usable tones in every setting.
It’s 100% original throughout – just like it left the Fullerton factory back in 1964.
The pickups and electronics/wiring remain completely untouched and intact—no broken solder joints, no rewound pickups. All original and correct.
