1957 Fender Stratocaster Hardtail – Sunburst
We present an exceptional all original 1957 Fender Stratocaster Hardtail in its original Sunburst finish. Made in Fullerton, California.
This is an early 1957 Hardtail model and is in excellent+ condition, with no breaks, cracks, or repairs. It features a lightweight, one-piece ash body, weighing only 3.08 kg. This guitar offers remarkable resonance, response, and sustain. It shows minor play wear near the neck and some belt buckle wear on the back—adding to its authentic vintage mojo.
The neck features a comfortable V-profile, and the original frets still have plenty of life left. The three original black-bottom single-coil pickups are well-balanced and deliver great output. The original six Kluson single-line tuners turn smoothly, and the single-layer pickguard is intact with no cracks. The original Fender Hardtail bridge with six “Pat. No.”-stamped steel saddles is fully functional and solid. A stunning and rare example of a pre-CBS Hardtail Stratocaster.
All electronics and pickups are untouched and fully original—no re-winds, no broken solder joints. Everything remains factory-correct and in top working condition.
Includes the original tweed hardshell case with red plush interior. All latches and the handle are in perfect working order.
