1964 Fender Stratocaster – Sunburst
We present an original 1964 Fender Stratocaster in Sunburst. Made in Fullerton, California.
This pre-CBS Stratocaster is an early 1964 model featuring the classic spaghetti logo and sought-after black-bottom pickups. It’s an incredible vintage instrument that has been played consistently since 1964 — and it shows, both visually and sonically. The guitar delivers outstanding tone and playability, with rich resonance through both the body and neck. It’s well-balanced with excellent weight and tonal depth.
It’s all original, except for an added string tree on the headstock.
Condition-wise, it’s excellent for its age, showing natural playwear — including paint wear, chips, and dings — mainly on the back and sides. These marks add a ton of vintage character and aesthetic appeal. There are no cracks or repairs to the body or neck. The frets have minor wear and have been professionally leveled, with plenty of life left for future playing. The tinted maple neck has a warm, played-in feel, and is topped with a beautifully curved veneer rosewood fretboard featuring original clay dot inlays.
The pickups, electronics, and wiring are untouched and remain 100% original — no re-soldered joints, no rewound pickups.
Includes an early Fender brown hardshell case, with all latches and handle in perfect working order.
