1964 Gibson Melody Maker – Sunburst
We present an all original 1964 Gibson Melody Maker in its original Sunburst finish. Made in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
This tidy ‘64 Melody Maker has the wider 1 11/16” nut width so it’s a joy to play. 1-piece Double Cutaway mahogany body, 1- piece mahogany neck with dark rosewood fingerboard. A very nice Gibson Melody Maker that was acclaimed by players, teachers and students for its fine sound.
Overall, it’s in excellent shape with minor nicks, dings and other cosmetic play wear. The original frets have plenty of life left. A great solid body electric guitar with full sized neck and scale length. One great sounding single coils pickup that is strong and well balanced. Even comes complete with its original Gibson hang tag.
Pickup and the electronics/wiring remains untouched and intact, with no broken solder joints, no re-wound pickup. All original and 100% correct.
Comes with its original Chipboard case. Latches and handle are in perfect working order.
