Description & Specifications

1964 Fender Jaguar – Black

We present an all original 1964 Fender Jaguar in Black finish with a matching headstock. Made in Fullerton, California.

This rare Fender Jaguar in a custom color is absolutely stunning. It features a dark rosewood fingerboard with clay dot inlays. The matching headstock is as clean as they come. There’s an incredible resonance to this instrument when you strike the first chord. That dynamic, soulful character truly carries through the amplified signal. The Jaguar offers tonal versatility—capable of thickening the sound or making it even more sinewy and sharp.

The neck has a C-shaped profile, very slender at the nut and gaining notable shoulder and roundness as you move up the fretboard, with a satisfying chunkiness. Overall, the neck has a great feel, full of mojo and natural play wear. The double-line Kluson tuners are in perfect working condition. This Jaguar features a beautiful nitro lacquer finish, showing lots of nicks, dings, belt buckle rash, and other honest cosmetic wear from playing. The original frets still have plenty of life left. New foam has been added, making the flip-up mute fully functional. The mint green pickguard is flawless with no cracks.

It’s 100% original throughout – just like it left the Fullerton factory back in 1964.

Pickups and electronics/wiring remain untouched and intact—no broken solder joints, no rewound pickups. All original and correct.

Comes with its original Fender non-logo hardshell case. Latches and handle are fully functional.
