1964 Fender Jaguar – Black
We present an all original 1964 Fender Jaguar in Black finish with matching headstock. Made in Fullerton, California.
This rare Fender Jaguar Custom Color is absolutely gorgeous. It has dark rosewood fingerboard with clay dots. The matching headstock is clean as it can be. There is so much resonance of this instrument when you strike your first chord. That dynamic, soulful quality really translates into the amplified signal. The Jaguar offers tonal options to both thicken up the sound and alternately make it even more sinewy and thin.
The neck has a C-shaped profile which is very slender at the nut, gaining notable shoulder and roundness as you travel up the fretboard with good chunk. Overall, the neck is so nice with mojo and play wear. The double-line-kluson tuners are in perfect working order. This Jaguar has beautiful nitro lacquer with a lot of nicks, dings, belt buckle wear and other cosmetic play-wear. The original frets have plenty of life left. New foam is added so the flip-up mute is functional. The mint green pickguard is perfect with no cracks.
Pickups and electronics/wiring remain untouched and intact, with no broken solder joints, no re-wound pickups. All original and correct.
Comes with its original Fender non-logo hardshell case. Latches and handle are in perfect working order.
