1965 Fender Jazzmaster – Sunburst
We present an all original 1965 Fender Jazzmaster in its original Sunburst finish. Made in Fullerton, California.
This late 1965 Jazzmaster includes its original bridge, tremolo arm, and matching serial-numbered hang tag — everything is intact. Cosmetically, this lightweight Jazzmaster is in near-mint condition, showing only minor wear, including a few small nicks and light surface scratches. The low E tuner is slightly bent but functions perfectly without any issues. Overall, it’s an exceptionally clean vintage guitar.
The neck profile and headstock face are in excellent condition. The original grey-bottom pickups are strong, well-balanced, and deliver a powerful, resonant, and versatile tone. It features a comfortable, C-shaped bound neck with dot inlays and binding, offering superb playability.
A vintage sticker from the music store where the previous owner purchased it in 1966 remains on the back of the headstock. We’ve chosen to leave it for historical value, though it can be removed easily if desired.
It’s 100% original throughout – just like it left the Fullerton factory back in 1965.
All electronics and wiring are untouched and completely original—no broken solder joints, no rewound pickups. Everything is correct and as it left the factory.
Includes its original Fender hardshell case, with all latches and handle in perfect working condition.
