1966 Gibson B-25 – Cherry Sunburst
We present an original 1966 Gibson B-25 in its original Cherry Sunburst. Made in Kalamazoo, Michigan, USA.
This one-owner guitar is in stunning condition. This is a mahogany “mini dreadnought” featuring an exceptional Engelmann spruce top. Cherry Sunburst finish on the top with matching cherry color on the back, sides, and neck.
Gibson decal logo at the top of the blackened peghead overlay. Black plastic truss-rod cover.
Original nut and original jumbo frets. Rosewood fingerboard with dot inlays. Cream top binding with an inner black line. The back edge features single cream binding. The soundhole rosette matches the top binding. Original tortoise celluloid pickguard. Black molded plastic adjustable bridge with ceramic saddle insert.
The Engelmann spruce top displays beautiful grain character and “cloud” figuring.
Original cream bridge pins and endpin included. The original lacquer finish shows typical vintage checking.
This guitar plays very well and offers excellent sound. Features a 1 9/16″ nut width.
Comes with the original Gibson chipboard case. Latches and handle are in perfect condition.
