Kirk Hammett’s 1959 Black Fender Stratocaster – Legendary Guitar from Metallica’s Iconic Lead Guitarist
We are proud to present an exceptional 1959 Fender Stratocaster, personally owned by Kirk Hammett, the legendary lead guitarist of Metallica. This rare Black Stratocaster comes with exclusive “case candy,” including previously unreleased photos of Kirk performing live on stage with Metallica, all taken by his personal photographer.
This iconic guitar was played during the Hardwired To Self-Destruct WorldWired Tour, most notably on the Metallica hit “Nothing Else Matters,” adding to its rich musical legacy.

How We Acquired This Legendary Guitar
In June 2022, during Metallica’s performance at the Danish festival Copenhell, Kirk Hammett visited our store. We had an incredible conversation about vintage guitars, and he is truly a humble and genuine person.
