Sold Vintage Basses

Our sold vintage bass gallery features some of the most iconic and original Fender and Gibson basses ever made. Over the years, we’ve had the privilege of handling rare pre-CBS Fender Precision Basses, stack-knob Jazz Basses, and custom color models that tell the story of Fender’s golden era from the 1950s through the early 1970s.

From early slab-board P-Basses to lightweight alder Jazz Basses in custom finishes, these instruments offer a direct line to the Fullerton factory and the craftsmanship that shaped electric bass history. We’ve also seen ultra-rare Fender Bass VI, Telecaster Basses, and transitional models that reveal how Fender evolved during this legendary period.

On the Gibson side, we’ve sold beautifully preserved examples of EB-0, EB-2, and EB-3 basses—including early long-scale versions, rare factory finishes, and exceptional instruments with decades of honest wear.

Some of the basses in our gallery came directly from the original owners and are time capsules in every sense. Others have lived full musical lives but retain the soul and originality collectors and musicians dream of. Each piece adds to the knowledge and authenticity we bring to every appraisal and acquisition.

This archive is more than a gallery—it’s a resource and inspiration for serious vintage bass enthusiasts.

And if you have an all-original vintage Fender or Gibson bass you think we should see, don’t hesitate to reach out…
