Payment
Guitar Hunter ApS accepts payments viaStandard bank wire, Dankort/VISA-Dankort, VISA, VISA Electron, Mastercard, and JCB. Webshop Payments will not be charged to your account until the product has been dispatched and shipped. All prices are shown in DKK or Euro. Please note that there is no sales VAT on used items. The VAT is not deductible on used products, and Guitar Hunter complies with the VAT regulations on used items.
Guitar Hunter ApS uses an approved payment server that encrypts all account information through SSL (Secure Socket Layer) protocol, ensuring that your information remains confidential.
Delivery – We Ship Worldwide
Guitar Hunter ApS delivers on all business days. All our shipments are fully insured. In Denmark, we only ship with GLS and PostNord. All shipments outside of Denmark are done exclusively with UPS. We have had a strong and reliable partnership with UPS for many years, ensuring dependable delivery of our products.
PLEASE NOTE: Always inspect your product upon arrival. Any damage incurred during delivery should be reported to Guitar Hunter ApS immediately to receive a refund. Once Guitar Hunter ApS has assigned the product to UPS, GLS, or PostNord, the respective carrier will be responsible for further actions and handling of the product. Therefore, it is essential that we are informed immediately of any damages occurring during delivery.
Delivery Time
In Denmark, the delivery time is 1-2 working days for in-stock items if your order is placed before 2 PM on all working days. Each item’s availability will be clearly stated.
Shipping Costs
- Delivery in Denmark (Shipping with GLS, full insurance):
Free delivery on all orders of 2,000 DKK or more. For orders less than 2,000 DKK, a delivery charge of 89 DKK, including VAT, will be added. - Delivery in other EU countries (Shipping with UPS, full insurance):
A delivery charge of 949 DKK, including VAT, on amplifier orders.
A delivery charge of 649 DKK, including VAT, on guitar and bass orders. - Delivery in Countries Outside the EU (Shipping with UPS, full insurance):
Delivery charges are agreed upon separately. Please contact sales@guitarhunter.dk for details.
Right of Complaint
Our products are covered by a 2-year right of complaint according to the Danish Sale of Goods Act. This right covers material and/or manufacturing defects and does not include general wear and aging. The warranty does not cover defects or damage due to improper use of the product/service. Guitar Hunter ApS does not cover return shipping costs.
Return Policy for Vintage Guitars & Basses (within the EU)
We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. When you buy from Guitar Hunter, we work hard to ensure you have all the information needed to make an informed decision. All items are carefully packed and inspected before shipment to ensure they arrive as expected. If you have any concerns prior to buying, please feel free to contact us we only collect happy customers.
NOTE: If you wish to utilize the 14-day return policy, it is important to remember that ownership of the guitar or bass does not transfer until after the return period has expired. Therefore, you can try the guitar, but it should not be played in a manner that constitutes actual use, similar to how you would test it in our showroom to see if it meets your expectations. Customers purchasing vintage guitars and basses must decide within 48 hours whether they wish to return the instrument. This is critical as we sell extremely unique and valuable guitars and basses, which must be returned in exactly the same condition as received.
Shipping & Return Policy (outside the EU)
Please note: returns are not accepted for purchases shipped to destinations outside the EU. We have extensive experience shipping many vintage instruments worldwide and have successfully shipped to many countries over the years. Our reputation is built on trust, honesty, and precise descriptions, and we take pride in delivering exactly what we promise.
Before making a purchase, we strongly encourage you to ask questions—it’s always better to ask one time too many than one time too few. We are happy to provide more detailed photos, videos, or even video calls to ensure you are fully confident in your decision. This approach helps both the buyer and Guitar Hunter by avoiding misunderstandings and ensuring that the instrument meets your expectations.
This does not mean we disclaim responsibility – all our instruments come with a warranty for what we promise, and we stand fully behind every description we provide.
All international shipments are made via UPS and are fully insured with tracking. Shipping costs will be calculated automatically during checkout in the webshop. Please note that shipping quotes do not include VAT, import taxes, or customs duties, which vary by country outside the EU. The buyer is responsible for all import taxes and customs duties.
By confirming your purchase, you acknowledge that you have reviewed all details and are aware of potential import costs. This policy helps both you and Guitar Hunter avoid complications when it comes to refunds, import taxes, customs duties, and international shipping logistics.
Refund Policy (Within the EU)
If a refund has been agreed upon, please provide your bank account information so that we can transfer the agreed amount.
Right of Withdrawal. A 14-day full return policy applies to products purchased in our store or webshop that are shipped to destinations within the EU. This period begins from the date you receive your product. Returns are at your own expense. Cancellation must be reported to us no later than 14 days after the order is placed. Once cancellation has been made, you must return the product within 14 days. Please notify us of your right of withdrawal by sending an email to sales@guitarhunter.dk.
Condition of Returned Products
You are responsible for any deterioration in the value of the product due to handling beyond what is necessary to determine the product’s character and properties. In other words, you can try the product as you would in our store. If the product has been used beyond this, we will consider it “used,” which may affect the amount refunded based on the market value of the product. To receive a full refund, you should only try the product without actually using it.
We do not accept packages that require payment on delivery (COD).
