1952 Gibson Les Paul Standard – Goldtop
We present an all original 1952 Gibson Les Paul Standard Goldtop. Made in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
Overall, this piece is in exceptionally clean condition, with only extremely minor nicks, dings, and other cosmetic play wear. Incredibly clean, with minor checking. This indicates it has been well-kept over the decades, and finding an original 1952 Gibson Goldtop in this condition is nearly impossible. It includes all original hang tags and strap.
This 1952 Gibson Les Paul Standard Goldtop features a 1-piece mahogany bound neck with a dark rosewood fingerboard and trapezoid inlays. 1-piece mahogany body with maple top. It has a great-playing neck with excellent original frets that look nearly new, with plenty of life left. The original nickel hardware is clean, including the original wrap-under trapeze tailpiece. The single-ring keystone Kluson tuners are in perfect working order and look like new. It also features the original tall 5/8″ gold barrel-shaped knobs, found on early 1952 Gibson Les Pauls, and they are fully intact. A truly clean piece of vintage guitar history that also sounds incredible.
It’s 100% original throughout – Just as it left the Kalamazoo factory back in 1952.
Pickups and electronics/wiring remain untouched and intact, with no broken solder joints and no re-wound pickups. All original and correct.
Comes with its original Gibson hardshell case with pink interior. Latches and handle are in perfect working order.
