1957 Fender Stratocaster – Sunburst
We present an all original 1957 Fender Stratocaster in its original Sunburst finish. Made in Fullerton, California.
This 1957 pre-CBS Fender Stratocaster has been well-loved by its owner. It features the most beautifully grained V-shaped neck we have ever seen. Overall, it shows weather checking, nicks, dings, and other cosmetic wear. The original “Pat. No. stamped” steel saddles and hardware have become slightly worn and aged. The saddle screws have been cleaned, allowing them to function perfectly.
The original frets and nut still have life left in them. The original owner likely wore a belt buckle, as there are some rash marks and scratches on the back of the alder body, giving this guitar some honest mojo. The neck is straight, and the truss rod functions as intended. The black-bottom pickups are very strong and balanced. They deliver a warm and clear tone with great liveliness and perfect balance across the set.
It’s 100% original throughout – just like it left the Fullerton factory back in 1957.
The pickups and electronics/wiring remain untouched and intact, with no broken solder joints and no rewound pickups. All original and correct.
Comes complete with the original hardshell tweed case. Latches and handle are in perfect working order.
