We present an all original and 100% complete 1958 Fender Champ Student 6 – String Lap Steel. Made in Fullerton, california. This Fender Champion Lap Steel Guitar is in full working order. The Body does have some minor wear on it but overall in excellent condition. Just a stunning sounding Lap Steel that is a joy to play.
The original pickup is in perfect and is well balanced. Length is 29 3/4 in. (75.6 cm.), 7 1/2 in. (19 cm.) wide at lower bout, and 1 3/8 in. (3.5 cm.) in depth, measured at side of rim. Scale length is 22 1/2 in. (572 mm.). Width of nut is 2 1/4 in. (57 mm)
Pickup and the electronics/wiring remains untouched and intact, with no broken solder joints, no re-wound pickup. All original and correct.
Even comes complete with its original hardshell tweed case. Latches and handle are in perfect working order.
