We present an original 1960 Fender Vibrolux amplifier tweed 5F11 – Narrow Panel. Made in Fullerton California.
This Fender Vibrolux amp delivers the classic tweed tone with incredible dynamics, harmonic richness, and tonal clarity. The amp stays clean with just the right amount of overdrive and very tight bass response for an amp with the original Jensen P10R” speaker. The tremolo is bias based, meaning that it turns the tubes on and off at a rate and intensity set by the controls, and has a nice strong pulse to it, with its smooth waveform that has a good amount of intensity and chop on tap.
The chassis is clean and also the chrome control plate. Original white lettering is intact, along with the stock chicken head knobs. The stock metal handle ends are intact along with a newer handle. The stock gray two-prong power cord is still on the amp as well. Both Transformers are original to the amplifier.
The original alnico Jensen P10R 10″ speaker is reconed. The original lacquered tweed is intact, showing light ambering and some minor wear. Overall, this Vibrolux is in great clean shape and has been serviced with some new resistors, capacitors, 3-prong cord, two pots and tubes so it can run perfectly. Both transformes are original to the amp.
The original tube chart is present as well and very clean with crisp corners. Even comes complete with its original footswitch.
