1960 Fender Vibrolux Amp Tweed 5F11 – Narrow Panel
We present an original 1960 Fender Vibrolux amplifier Tweed 5F11 – Narrow Panel. Made in Fullerton, California.
This Fender Vibrolux amp delivers the classic Tweed tone with incredible dynamics, harmonic richness, and tonal clarity. The amp stays clean with just the right amount of overdrive and features a very tight bass response, thanks to the original Jensen P10R 10″ speaker. The tremolo is bias-based, meaning it modulates the power tubes at a rate and intensity set by the controls. It has a strong, smooth waveform with a good amount of intensity and chop.
The chassis is clean, as is the chrome control plate. The original white lettering is intact, along with the stock chicken head knobs. The stock metal handle ends are present, paired with a newer handle. The original gray two-prong power cord is still attached. Both transformers are original to the amplifier.
The original Alnico Jensen P10R 10″ speaker has been professionally reconed. The original lacquered Tweed covering is intact, showing light ambering and minor wear. Overall, this 1960 Fender Vibrolux is in excellent clean condition and has been serviced with new resistors, capacitors, a 3-prong power cord, two pots, and tubes to ensure optimal performance. Both transformers remain original to the amp.
The original tube chart is also present and in very clean condition with crisp corners. It even comes complete with its original footswitch.
To keep it as original as possible you need a stepdown transformer. We have these in stock and can be purchased through Guitar Hunter.
