1961 Fender Princeton Amp Tweed 5F2-A – Narrow-Panel
We present an original 1961 Fender Princeton amplifier Tweed 5F2-A – Narrow-Panel, made in Fullerton, California.
This is the large cabinet version, which sonically gives the amplifier more headroom. Overall, this Fender Princeton is in gorgeous condition, with very typical cosmetic wear. The Princeton has been well cared for over the decades and features the original Oxford 8″ speaker, which has been reconed. The circuit has been serviced with new capacitors and resistors to ensure perfect operation. Otherwise, it retains its RCA and Sylvania tubes, along with the original leather handle.
This amp is also equipped with the original transformers. This beauty is simple, elegant, and clean enough to satisfy both collectors and serious players. All channels work and sound incredible. A modern 3-prong grounded cord has been added, and the death cap has been removed.
To keep it as original as possible you need a stepdown transformer. We have these in stock and can be purchased through Guitar Hunter.
