1956 Fender Stratocaster – Blond
We proudly present an exceptional 1956 Fender Stratocaster. Made in Fullerton, California.
This 1956 pre-CBS Fender Stratocaster in Blond finish is all original. One of the holy grails from Fender. There is very few left of these Blond 50’s Stratocasters. Overall, the Blond finish on the ash body is absolutely gorgeous and it’s not only looks amazing, but it’s a truly fantastic player with an incredible woody/resonance vintage tone.
The original black bottom single-coil pickups matched with the solid maple neck produces a punchy/twangy tone. There is no doubt that this piece is a collector’s grade, but it definitely deserves to be played. Comes complete which includes its original bridge cover, tremolo arm, polish cloth, and strap. Further more a periode correct and very valuable blank hang tag that was only produced up til 1956.
The guitar has a great playing soft v-shape neck with great original frets. Plenty of life left in the nut and frets. The top edge of the body has brittle finish thats flaking off. Aside from that, it’s in excellent shape with some nicks and dings around the edges, extremely minor finish checking and other cosmetic wear.
Pickups and the electronics/wiring remain untouched and intact, with no broken solder joints, no re-wound pickups. All original and correct.
Comes with its original hardshell tweed case. Latches and handle are in perfect working order.
