1962 Fender Jaguar – Blond
We present an all original 1962 Fender Jaguar in Blond finish, made in Fullerton, California.
This incredible pre-CBS Fender Jaguar is absolutely stunning—an exceptionally clean example featuring all the desirable early specs, including a slab-board rosewood fingerboard. Not only is this the first year of production, but it’s also among the very first ever made, with Fender officially launching the Jaguar model in March 1962. This particular guitar dates from April 1962.
This rare custom-color Fender Jaguar shows some small nicks, dings, and minor cosmetic wear on the front and back of the body. The maple neck and headstock are remarkably clean. The original Blond finish remains vibrant, with only a slight yellow spot on the back of the ash body. The original nut and frets have plenty of life left. It even comes with all the original case candy—strap, polish cloth, cable, manual, and hang tags. It’s all there!
It’s 100% original throughout – just like it left the Fullerton factory back in 1962.
Pickups and electronics remain untouched and intact—no broken solder joints, no rewound pickups. All original and correct.
Includes the original brown Fender hardshell case. Latches and handle are in perfect working order.
