1962 Fender Jaguar – Sunburst
We present an all original 1962 pre-CBS Fender Jaguar in Sunburst finish. Made in Fullerton, California.
This incredible pre-CBS Fender Jaguar is truly a collectors dream and from the first year of production 1962. It’s in absolutely mint condition, and unbelievable clean. The comes directly from the original owner called Jacob who bought the guitar brand new back in November of 1962. Jacob was studying music in Tacoma, Washington at the time and bought the guitar from the American Conservatory Of Music and has had it ever since and even kept the original strap, matching number hang tag and manual.
It features minimal finish checking on the body. The original 3-tone sunburst finish looks awesome with barely any fading at all. The original alder body has some beautiful grain that comes out nice and visible through the sunburst finish. The neck is incredible clean condition with barely any play-wear or fading spots. The original nut and frets has plenty of life left. The tortoiseshell pickguard is as clean as it gets with no cracks.
Comes with the original bridge cover, tremolo arm, string-mute and even includes the original foam for the mute. The six original single Kluson tuners works perfectly and turns smoothly.
Pickups and electronics/wiring remain untouched and intact, with no broken solder joints, no re-wound pickups. All original and correct.
Comes complete with its original brown Fender hardshell case. Latches and handle are in perfect working order.
